About Us
Hi, my name is Travis Laug. 1996 is the year it all began, I started working in the window treatment industry for my mom. Just before that she bought a local company called Draperies On Wheels from a friend of hers in Suttons Bay. I had no knowledge of the window treatment business at that time. I was an installer for her, and needed to learn quickly. I went to Lafayette Installation Training Center in the summer of 1996. We sold and installed lots of window treatments in the area for the next several years. Draperies On Wheels closed in 2011 but I continued to do small repairs and installations. In 2020 I decided it was time for me to start my own business selling and installing window treatments. I started working for other companies in northern Michigan installing and measuring windows for them and their customers. Finally I found a manufacturers that I wanted to work with and sell their window treatments. Hunter Douglas. Now I am proudly selling my own business’ window treatments in the Grand Traverse, and Leelanau area.
